Breaking: Fletcher Cox Gets 6-Year Extension From Eagles

Today Cox signed a record 6-year contract, that will pay him $103 million, with $63 million of it guaranteed, it’s a record contract for a non QB, and pretty much guarantees he’ll be an Eagle for the rest of his career.

The Eagles are doing pretty good so far this off season, signing Sam Bradford, and Chase Daniel, trading up for the #2 overall pick in the draft, and using that on North Dakota State Carson Wentz.

I actually feel sorry for Bradford, he was acquired by the Eagles last season, who at that time still coached by Chip Kelly, and he was hoping to end his career as an Eagle, but he only signed a 2 year extension in the off season, and the drafting of Wentz virtually spells the end of Bradford in Philadelphia.
